Although our main focus is on displays for schools & educational establishments, we can and have previously given presentations elsewhere and we welcome contact from other groups who would wish an input or who feel we could add to any event, exhibition or suchlike. Our extensive prop collection and living visual aids are also available for display at individual events (our speaker must accompany such exhibits).

In the past we have presented displays within the museum environment of the Burrell Collection in Glasgow.  During their Knights and Castles exhibition Kathryn was employed as one of the 'Wandering Knights' where she gave talks & demonstrations to school groups and other museum visitors inside the museum gallery and also presented family workshops to tie in with the Knights & Castles Exhibition. In November 2009 we participated in the Come Back to Ayrshire 1940's Nostalgia Re-enactment Event at Troon Walker halls, displaying our WW2 collection to a large audience and in the summer of 2010 presented a 'Pirates Ahoy' workshop as part of Stranraer Museum's summer programme of activities.

Summer Play Schemes and After School Clubs have used our displays as part of their programmes - giving an educational as well as highly enjoyable experience out of school hours. We also enjoyed a long and happy connection with the Kids In Need & Distress (KIND) children's centre when it was based in Scotland - providing history and art inputs to visiting youngsters.

Adults with special educational needs have also participated in our workshops enjoying the experience of handling and examining our various costumes & artifacts and we have visited adult groups in Glasgow, Kilbirnie and Girvan.

History Alive In Schools has regularly taken a stall at the South Ayrshire History Fair - allowing visitors to that event to experience a little of what we do and we also participated in several of the 'Forces in the Field Event' at Culzean Castle & Country Park where along with friends we exhibited our German WW2 living history display at two events and latterly a diorama depicting a Viking encampment with demonstrations of Viking age cookery and more.  Our Viking exhibit in particular would be something we would like the opportunity to display more often especially now that National Trust for Scotland has ceased it's association with the Forces in the Field event.

If you feel that we could provide any assistance with any event or group you are running then please don't hesitate to contact us via telephone or post or alternatively complete the ONLINE ENQUIRY/BOOKING FORM - submitting details of your specific requirements.

We look forward to hearing from you!!!!
